Alcazar is a collective and multidisciplinary literary project initiated by EGEU in 2020. The project explored the topography of a fictional place, documenting a non-existent space through its construction and settlement process and unfolded in two different formats, a publication and a show.
The show happened as part of a collaboration between EGEU and ALFAIA, presenting a mix of new works by some of the artists who had participated in the literary project, as well as some works that had been featured in the book. Some of the texts of the publication were presented as sound pieces, playing from little white boxes attached to the wall. There was also an open discussion on 29 July at 7pm led by EGEU and Limoeiro Real.
