Isabel Cordovil’s ‘como água na água’ (like water in water) was the starting point for Alcazar, a collective literary project organised by EGEU which brought together literary, plastic and visual artists. The exhibition set up the tone by addressing the notions of myth and ruin, materialising the intention of documenting a non-existent space.
Looking for modes of occupation such as solubility, liquefaction and the tensions adjacent to a documentary process without an original setting, Isabel Cordovil's solo exhibition proposed to fill the gallery space with water, turning it into a giant aquarium.
